DICHROIC GLASS JEWELRY

Dichroic is a high-tech optical coating that is applied to glass. The word "dichroic" (pronounced die-crow-ic) means two colors, which refer to transmitted color and reflected color. It is what gives each piece its reflective metallic finish. This same effect is seen in nature in peacock feathers, butterfly wings, and opals. Each piece is individually handcrafted and one of a kind.
